3 Steps to Salvation<\/h1>

Step 1<\/span>: Be willing to start a personal relationship with God that will never end.<\/strong><\/p>

Step 2:<\/span> Realize God sent Jesus to die on the cross for your sins and has raised Him from the dead so you can have eternal life with God.<\/strong><\/p>

Step 3:<\/span> Make Jesus Lord of your life by s<\/strong>peaking the “Salvation Prayer” OUT LOUD<\/span> (Romans 10:9-10,13).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

9<\/sup>If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>

10<\/sup>For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Salvation Prayer<\/span><\/h1>

“Dear God in heaven, I come to you today as a lost sinner.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

I am asking you to save me, and cleanse me, from all my sins.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

I realize in my heart, my need of salvation, which can only come through Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

I am accepting Christ into my heart, and what he did for me on the cross, in order to purchase my redemption.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

In obedience to your word, I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in my heart, that God has raised him from the dead.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

You have said in your Word, which cannot lie, “for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

I have called upon your name, exactly as you have said, and I believe right now, I am saved. \u00a0Amen!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Now that you have prayed the Salvation Prayer,<\/span><\/strong>
you have been born-again into your heavenly Father’s family, with all the rights, <\/span><\/strong>
privileges, and responsibilities that brings.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Salvation Involves Your Heart<\/strong>
\u00a0and Your Mouth<\/strong><\/h1>

Romans 10:5-13<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

There is no ceremony required for salvation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

There is no prescription or ten steps to be saved.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Salvation comes through two things:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

  1. Confess with your mouth<\/span><\/strong><\/li>
  2. Believe in your heart<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    Someone can help you with the confess with your mouth part.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    A pastor can give you a sample prayer to pray, or you can find some simple guidelines in most Christian publications.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    There are no specific words you must say and no hoops to jump through.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Telling God what you believe about Jesus in your own words is your confession.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Your conversion is public, making known to anyone who will listen, that you are a child of the Almighty God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    There is no such thing as private faith.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    That initial moment of confessing Christ with your mouth initiates a lifelong project of believing with your heart.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Faith is about believing God, and your faith actions are grounded in your belief.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Believing is not just something you mentally agree with; it must be lived out through your entire being.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    That’s because believing is not just a brain activity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    It’s a heart activity.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    CASE AND POINT: \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>

    If you say you believe God is all-powerful, then you show it.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    You don’t lose hope when bad times come.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    You go to Him for direction, strength, and endurance.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    You get your power from Him instead of yourself.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    If you say you believe God is all-knowing, but then argue with Him over a certain command, or simply ignore Him and rebelliously do whatever you want to do, you show that you don’t believe God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Your life proves your faith.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    You live what you believe.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    And God is right there next to you to hear your confession and to walk with you through life.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Have you confessed with your mouth?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Does your life show that you believe with your heart?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
